Skiing and tobogganing can be enjoyed at Pembrey Country Park (20 miles). The National Botanic Gardens, cheese, chocolate, bee and butterfly farms, traditional arts and crafts, historic goldmines, castles and steam railways and amusement parks are all within easy driving distance.A cosy pub, which welcomes children and serves excellent food, is a mile walk down the mountain track.
