The Cinque Port of Rye with its cobbled streets and interesting shops is only 10 miles away. Hastings offers a modern pier beach (pictured) a promenade local history museum and a sea life centre as well as excellent town amenities. The nearest shops and pubs serving food are in the village of Westfield just 1 mile from The Oast.
