Crooked Oak Cottage is within the grounds of our family home, a charming period farmhouse set in a wooded valley in 66 acres of rolling Devon countryside located on the southern fringes of Exmoor.
Ideally situated for exploring the Devon countryside. Guests have complete freedom to explore the farmland and our 35 acres of woodland bordered by the Crooked Oak river and may see deer, foxes, buzzards, badgers, and pheasants.
The cottage offers an open plan living area and the special feature of a two storey ceiling height with roof lights at high level letting the sun in. There are wonderful south facing views from the conservatory across the wooded valley and access to the private enclosed courtyard with timber deck directly from the conservatory.
It is an easy drive to the North Devon beaches. The area offers tremendous opportunities for walking, touring, riding, golf, fishing, bird watching, and wildlife observation. It is an excellent centre for short breaks for touring/walking Exmoor, mid Devon and the Devon coast with easy access to Exeter, Rosemoor Gardens, Dartmoor and other attractions.

Crooked Oak offers a spacious open plan living area, one double bedroom with king size bed and one twin bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath and hairwash shower attachment, one sofa bed, and a private patio area with garden furniture and barbeque.
